Shockwave Therapy

What is Shockwave Therapy?
It uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and relieve chronic pain in the musculoskeletal system.
Focused Shockwave (FSWT)
Focused Shockwave Therapy (FSWT) is a medical technology that uses high-energy shockwaves to treat pain and stimulate bodily recovery. The shockwaves used in FSWT are high-intensity and can be precisely focused on the desired treatment area, making it suitable for large or superficial areas. Side effects may include some post-treatment pain, which is usually minimal.
The benefits of FSWT in treatment.
1. Treat chronic pain.
Chronic tendon inflammation, such as Achilles tendinitis.
Shoulder pain from rotator cuff tendinitis.
2. Stimulates tissue regeneration and cell repair.
Increase blood flow to the injured area.
Stimulates collagen production and repairs damaged tissue.
3. Maintain bone and joint health.
Helps stimulate new bone growth, suitable for osteoporosis or rehabilitation after fractures.
Used to treat non-union fractures.
4. Helps dissolve calcium deposits in tendons.
Used to treat calcific tendinitis.
5. Used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).
Shock waves help increase blood flow to the genitals.
Stimulates the formation of new blood vessels.
